What I Wore: 37.

To say life over the past few weeks has been busy would be understatement of the century, leaving the house at 7.30 am and arriving back at 9.30 pm doesn't really leave much room for blogging. But I am not going to give up because as sporadic as my posts have become, it really is something I do enjoy doing. As Christmas is practically here I will have some time on my hands to report some highly interesting outfit consisting of a whole range of jumpers. To say England is cold right now would be an understatement of the century.

Has everyone enjoyed lots of Christmas type activities lately? My weekend has been lovely, on friday I went ice skating at The Natural History Museum, initially it was all a bit Bambi, by the end I only was averagely bad at it! This time next week Christmas will be over and done with, not too sure how that has come around so fast. Oh, an update on my present situation, still stands at zero, things are hopefully on their way to me though...

What I Wore: 36.

I know once again it has been forever since I last posted, forgive me please? Thanks everyone for your lovely comments, I am working my way through a mountain of blog posts! Though anyone who uses bloglovin have you noticed that it doesn't always load all unread posts? Maybe it's just me because I have loads to read!

How it is nearly Christmas? The total Christmas presents I have bought stands at zero....total fail. If anyone has any cool present buying type websites then feel free to pass on the link, I need some inspiration. Is everyone feeling in the Christmas spirit? I can't say I am just yet, even a trip to Winter Wonderland didn't do it. I mostly just felt cold!

Also, I highly recommend all you girls out there join up to a new social networking site, Luluvise. It's really fun, and set to be the next big thing!

Hope everyone is doing well and I will check out your posts soon!!

x

p.s. I recommend every go raid your charity shops, I got 3, yes that's right 3 coats last weekend for under £30!!

What I Wore: 35.

Potentially too much of my face in this post? Probably yes but as I layered up I figured what the hell, why not show you the boring components of my outfit. Looking slightly disheveled due to being taken after a day at work but I'm sure we can all deal with my appearance right? Also my ability to strike a near identical pose in every shot astounds me.

The past few weeks have been for want of a better word, mental. The main news is, drum roll please.....I got the perfect internship, can I get some virtual high fives? Lets just say there are some exciting times ahead!

Also, if anyone is interested in sporadic, non interesting snippets of information feel free to follow me on twitter. I am now hooked up to the internet 24/7, apart from now, now I sleep.

Have an awesome weekend guys!

What I Wore: 34.

Hopefully you can see a marked improvement in the quality of the photos, if not that was a lot of money wasted! Not sure why I look so angry/ gormless in the first photo, let's blame the early morning shall we.  Yet another boring work post but with the addition of my sexy new blazer, it may look total granny like in this photo but let me assure you looks can be deceiving.

Now let me tell you my woes, after leaving Uni I have bounced around from various jobs, all I which I like to call 'money jobs'. None of which really hold my interest or fulfill my long term career goals. So I am on the hunt for an internship, along with everyone else I long for the dream career. My stumbling blocks so far are the age old problem of no relevant experience and the fact I live in the back end of beyond, so finding someone willing to pay the hefty expenses that would be my train fare is proving quite difficult. But as I keep saying to myself one day, one day I will get there!

On another note, does anyone know how on earth it is Friday again? Time is flying, I really better get cracking with my Christmas shopping!

What I Wore: 33.

Let me set the scene, I sit down to write a much needed blog post, searching for my photos I can't seem to find them. I begin to think did I dream the photo taking and uploading process, no turns out I'm just an idiot who cannot remember what folder I put them in. So here is the very delayed post of what I wore last Friday. As Friday is dressed down day I like to take full advantage, as I figured pj's wouldn't be suitable attire, the next logical step is clearly a leopard print leotard. I'm certain this is what work had in mind when they introduced dressed down friday!

Other stupid things I have done this week, head-butting the wall by my bed whilst half asleep, it took me a good few days to remember why my head hurt and where that bump had come from! Also by the end of the week I will be the proud owner of a new camera so the good news is blurry pictures will be no more, that is unless I can't figure out how to use the camera.

So until then have a good week everyone!

What I Wore: 32.

Happy Sunday everyone, I hope everyone is having a good day and being suitably lazy, I know I am. This weekend has gone far too quickly, not that I have really been up to much. Last night I consumed far too much food, as I enjoyed an early Christmas celebration. No I'm not insane my friend is leaving for Australia in a few weeks so we celebrated Christmas before she leaves. So after Christmas dinner, dessert, cheese, port, wine and chocolates I was suitably stuffed. We also had a little secret santa rules were it had to be something from poundland so my friend is now the proud owner of a 2012 One Direction calender/poster, my presents are just that good!

This outfit was just one of the workwear selection from last week that I never got round to posting. I have noticed that I tend to wear a lot of shirt dress type things to work, they just tend to be comfy whilst still looking smart. Anyway I'm off to do some more all important lazing about, must get my weekly quota in on the Sunday and there is no time for laziness in the week!

Hope everyone had a good weekend.

What I Wore: 31.

Wowzers, feels like forever since I sat down and wrote a proper post with photos and everything. I had intended to take some outfit photos last week but my camera was hiding from me, even though it's broken beyond repair it's still better to have a broken camera than not have one at all. Speaking of which I am looking to get a new one for my birthday so hopefully picture quality will vastly improve in a few weeks time.

I find I tend to just wear my own thing to work, I'm never going to be the sort of person that wears that bog standard office wear. I'm sure you know the things I mean, cheap fabric, hideous shapes and patterns. I will save the looking like an old lady till I'm actually old thanks very much.

I also wanted to thank everyone for their kind comments and well wishes, it means a lot to know that people care. Hopefully I can carry on being organised and getting back into this blogging malarky.

Hope everyone had a good Monday!

Catch up.

Me again, once again sorry about the absence. Thank you for all your lovely comments, unfortunately my Grandad passed away so I haven't really had time to blog or really do much else these past few weeks. I promise I will get round to reading all your fabulous blogs and reply to comments asap.

Hopefully will be back to regular posting as soon as possible!

What I Wore: 30.

Epic fail getting back to regular posting, but I'm sure I can be forgiven yes? Anyway I haven't taken any outfit photos this week, I'm just going to blame it on the fact it is so dark in the mornings. So this outfit is something that I never got round to posting a while ago, I think it's fair to say the time of bare legs is all but a distant memory for me, far too cold these days. I need to invest in some sort of cheap faux-leather jacket to wear out in the evenings, I refuse to take out my real leather jacket because I would probably be inconsolable if anything happened to it.

Anyway I'm settling myself in for a day of eating, blog reading and general nothingness, heaven. Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

What I Wore: 29.

Sorry for slipping of the face of the planet for a while, to say September has been a bad month would probably be the understatement of the century. Along with many other things the main reason for the absence is that my Grandad is unwell, so after being at work all day then going to the hospital there hasn't been any spare time. Things are slowly settling down so hopefully some sort of normal posting will resume.

This weekend will consist of sitting in bed and working my way through the mountain of everyone's blogposts!

What I Wore: 28.

Holy colour and pattern, this jumper is probably the most 'un-me' thing I could probably wear, but you know what I love it. Definitely a case of love at first sight but I didn't snap it up straight away, mostly due to the crazy prices in Topshop. Luckily the sale gods took pity on me and I could not resist any longer.

I'm going to throw this out there and say I am not a fan of topshop, don't hate me. I just think you can find cheaper alternatives elsewhere, diy or find similar items in charity shops. My friends are forever hearing me say this whenever they want to browse the rails. Also I must have had a knock to the head because I hardly ever buy printed clothes from shops which mass produce, purely because I don't want to be standing next to someone wearing the exact same thing as me. Clearly all these rules went out the window on this occasion!

What I Wore: 27.

I have finally come to terms with the fact that Summer is not happening, but roll on autumn and winter I say. I'm a fan of winter clothes anyway, what's not to love, chunky knits, cosy boots, layering and most importantly clothes which have a colour range that doesn't stray to far away from black, white or grey.

As you can tell I still don't have a new camera, but it's definitely at the top of my shopping list, I can't decided whether to get a bog standard camera or opt for a DSLR. Suggestions please? Also I have finally entered the 21st Century and acquired my brothers old iphone, I'm sure you can expect me to jump on the Instagram bandwagon any day now.

This Saturday I went to V festival, as I live nearby and the tickets were free I thought I may as well head down for the day. I have to admit it's not a festival that is on the top of my list but it ended up being a really fun day and everyone I saw was really good. What did everyone else get up to at the weekend? Did anyone go to V?

What I Wore: 26.

Once again sorry for the huge gap between posts, I figured most people's priority at the beginning of the week wasn't wondering what clothes I was wearing. Obviously it goes without saying that my heart goes out to anyone that was affected by what quite frankly can only be described as utter madness. Anyway I won't dwell on the subject.

This outfit is a bit of a shock to the system not wearing something that contains the colours black, white or grey is a pretty odd occurrence for me. Is it just me or do my arms look freakishly long in these photos?! Not really much else to report at the moment as my life is fairly uninteresting. Also can anyone recommend any good mens fashion blogs? It's for my brother so nothing too wacky or crazy.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

What I Wore: 25.

How was everyones weekend? Mine was pretty darn good, fun times with the family as it was my Grandad's 80th birthday party. I had some sort of moment of insanity volunteering to cater the party, hello 14 hours cooking, pretty sure I should get some sort of Guinness World Record?!

As the weather gets warmer the less I can be bothered to get dressed in the morning, why can't we just go to work in beachwear? I'm sure it would be so much better, plus everyone would be more productive as they wouldn't be so hot, it makes perfect sense to me.

Pretty much in love with these moccasins at the moment, makes me feel like I'm channeling my inner hippy/ Sienna Miller, when I am clearly neither of these.

What I Wore: 24.

The camera is still dying a slow death, and lately I just cannot be bothered to think of what to wear in the morning. This usually results in the constant rotation of different shirts and trousers, which isn't all that interesting. I must have changed about 7 times this morning, one of those days were everything just didn't feel right, anyone know what I mean or am I just insane?

Saturday night ended up being fairly random, bumping into so many people that I hadn't seen for ages and also Matt Cardle from the X factor. He is literally the shortest man ever and still had that hat on, I think only a surgical procedure would remove it from his head.

I'm off to catch up on some hot man action in True Blood, has anyone else been watching the new series?

What I Wore: 23.

The slightly grainy, unfocused look to photos will unfortunately be present for the foreseeable future. My camera decided to throw itself off the the windowsill and land on its lens, which is now permanently stuck and the only way to slightly focus is to pull the lens out manually. Expensive gadgets tend to commit suicide in my presence, it's only a matter of time before a series of freak accidents lead to their demise.

Obligatory mention of the weather coming up, but seriously the only way it could get any worse if it it snows. Is it really too much to ask to be able to sit outside with a cold glass of something in July, I think not Mother nature!

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

What I Wore: 22.

Another appearance by this shirt, I'm really eager to find lots of floaty oversized shirts from the charity shop and make them into kimono style jackets that seem to be everywhere at the moment. Also I'm attempting to learn how to crochet so will let you know on how that one goes!

I am to creating an ever growing list of places I want to visit, mostly random little places in Europe. Apart from having little money, the other problem is I haven't a clue who would want to come with me and thanks to Taken I'm completely convinced that if I was on my own I would be stolen and sold to the sex trade. I wouldn't even have Liam Neeson to come and save me, I'm completely insane I know!

Anyway I'm slightly dying of toothache at the moment, so I'm going to dose myself up on pain relief!

What I Wore: 21.

I know it seems like I am always wearing these jeans but I swear I rarely wear them, it just so happens that the days I do I have time to take photos, thats the story I'm sticking to anyway! This week is going by so slowly as I'm waiting to start a new job, don't get me wrong a bit of time off is nothing to complain about but its not so much fun when everyone else is at work. It also doesn't help that time goes even slower when you are waiting for something.

Nothing much happened this weekend, all I want to do lately is sleep and eat, perhaps I have gone into an early hibernation? However, I did get up at 6 am on Sunday, yes people you heard that right. No I am not insane, I was volunteering at my local Race For Life, despite the early start it was actually a really good day and was nice to get out and do something different. Also the delicious bacon sandwich and ice cream certainly helped. Stupidly I had an image in my head that our t-shirts would be pink, and not the bright orange that they actually were. This actually made far more sense as it would have been impossible to spot us volunteers amongst the thousands of others in pink.

Hope everyone is having a lovely week and its nice and sunny where you are!

What I Wore: 20.

So sorry for the absence again, a combination of many things have been keeping me busy lately, but I will get back into the swing of things soon. Once again the weather cannot decide what it is doing, though it was boiling hot at the weekend so I did manage to get a slight tan. The other day I got stuck in the worst rain storm,  I was completely soaked, no item of clothing was safe even underwear was drenched. Needless to say it wasn't such a pleasant experience walking home feeling like I had wet myself.

Last Friday afternoon I got a call from my Brother asking me if I would like free tickets to glastonbury,  obviously my initial thoughts were hell yes, but then the logical side of me kicked in and I had to say no. An insane decision I know but it would have cost me a fortune in train fares and been a 5-9 hour journey, also the fact that I had nothing packed was a slight problem as well. I did nearly weep every time I thought about it though and had to console myself with a shopping trip.

I am currently being driven mad by a car alarm going off every 5 minutes, lets hope it shuts up soon before I go completely insane. Oh there it goes again...

What I Wore: 19.

A fairly boring outfit, I am seriously lacking in inspiration and just throw on the first thing I find at the moment. It doesn't help that one minute I'm boiling hot then the next completely soaked, damn weather. I definitely need a shopping trip, and have convinced myself that I need lots of shorts as they are the only thing I seem to wear out at the moment. They offer somewhat more coverage than a skirt, not that I'm forever bending over and flashing everyone. I'm toying with the idea to go after work on Friday, but what I'm imagining in my head as a nice shopping trip followed by a tasty meal will probably turn into me being stuck in traffic for hours.

This weekend it was a friends birthday so was pretty fun and jam packed, a few of our friends are on holiday so we are having more celebrations next week. So I hope it is glorious sunshine unlike the monsoon like rain we experienced this weekend. One thing I was reminded of this weekend is that sometimes you just have to say enough is enough. No matter how hard you try you just have to realise that if someone is prepared to treat you in a way that shows they had no regard for your feelings, then they are definitely not someone you want as a part of your life. Don't get me wrong it's sad when you lose someone from your life, but I am a much stronger person than what I used to be and I try not let anything affect me. Some may think its a bit heartless, but I always think why spend your time dwelling on someone when they are definitely not doing the same over you. If all else fails I can always rely on this song to put me in a good mood, if you've a Matilda fan then I'm sure you know it.

I nearly just deleted this post for the second time, I swear the older I get the more clumsy I am. The other day I stepped on the train and was so close to falling in a random man's lap and then when I got off I walked into a post. Sometimes I wonder how I make it though the day without doing something truly stupid!

What I Wore: 18.

Not entirely sure if I actually like this outfit, I was dressed really summery this morning because it was lovely and warm but then it went all grey and yucky. Rain and white tops don't mix too well so I thought it best to put some more clothes on.

This weekend was pretty chilled out and I didn't really do much in the end, I'm blaming it on serious lack on money, roll on pay day pretty please. Saturday night just ended up being super quite with just the girls, some film watching and eating far too much food, making and consequently eating too many cupcakes. My friend was under the impression that cupcakes weren't all that bad, the look on her face when she knew how unhealthy they were. Definitely didn't end up in bed at 12 watching sing along Beauty and the Beast...

I was hoping to pick up some bargains because we went to the car boot on Sunday but as it decided to rain everyone went home early, so that turned out to be a major fail. I'm going to hunt around the charity shops this weekend so hopefully will pick up some bargains.

Has anyone watched Angry Boys on BBC3? If not then you really should, Chris Lilley is hilarious and I'm hoping this is as brilliant as Summer Heights High was. I may also be slightly addicted to Geordie Shore, please don't judge me.

Hope everyone has had a good weekend.

What I Wore: 17.

How on earth is it a week since I last posted, I am going to try my hardest to become more frequent with my posts. I really do love blogging, mainly just so then I can ramble on about random things, and obviously I love reading everyones comments and all the lovely things people say.

Today I just wanted to be super comfy, I still think these trousers are hideous and incredibly unflattering but when comfort is key they are the first thing I think of to wear. I was hoping to dress slightly more summery but the weather still cannot decide what it wants to do. Its crazy that I was sunbathing in a bikini at the weekend and then the other day I had to wear my winter coat to work. I got so soaked and spent the remainder of my day squelching around in my wet shoes, not at all pleasant.

I have a million and one things to do today but all I want to do is eat brownies and curl up in a ball and sleep, maybe throw in a bit of film watching or if it was warm some sunbathing and that would be the perfect day. I seem to be so sleepy this week, yesterday on my lunch break I was so close to falling asleep, it got to the point where I wasn't entirely sure if I had nodded off for a second. I also keep banging on about the sun and getting a tan, as I am the only one out of my friends who is not going on holiday this year I am determined not to be white and pasty, when they are all lovely and brown!

Hope everyone is having a good week, Friday needs to hurry up get here sooner!

What I Wore: 16.

The weather was lovely today so I thought I would crack this pleated number out. It is actually a skirt but as the waistband is elasticated it can easily be worn as a dress and in real life its actually a bit more of a darker raspberry colour. Its rather unlike me to wear something so colourful.

Bank holiday weekend actually turned out to be a lot more fun than I thought it was going to be. I had such a good night out on Sunday, nothing special but its always a good time when the majority of your friends are out together. I don't really drink anymore, but I'm the sort of person who can go out, not drink and still have a good time. In fact I think I'm more insane without alcohol, probably not such a good thing. I always think people probably assume I'm incredibly drunk because I chat away to anyone and pretty much never leave the dancefloor.

On Monday I went to a local event which has bands playing throughout the day, food and loads of different stalls, everyone just chills out on picnic blankets and it has a bit of a festival vibe to it. Sitting on the train home with hundreds of hyped up, mostly drunk teenagers was not my idea of a relaxing journey though. And the highlight, getting chatted up by a 16 year old boy, I think he thought I was loving it because I was smiling but I was only trying to stop myself from bursting out laughing!

What I Wore: 15.

Once again I have no clue where the week has gone I swear it was Monday a second ago. All I seem to have done is work this week and have achieved nothing of interest, so I'm afraid this is probably going to be highly boring. Due to the insane winds I have mostly been wearing my hair up but somehow I still manage to turn up to work sporting dragged through a hedge backwards chic, a somewhat popular look for me at the moment.

Major fail this morning as it was not until after I had got ready that I realised the time was 6.30 and I had got up at 6 not the usual 6.30, it was almost like time travel as I had suddenly gained an extra half hour, that I didn't realise I had.

I really have failed at the plan making this weekend, but I'm sure a pub trip tonight will more than likely happen. I would also appreciate it if the weather decided to turn lovely and warm as I could definitely do with some sort of tan. I am currently sporting some dodgy tan lines from the other day when I went on another crazy long walk and by crazy I mean 4 hours. By the end we looked like we had some sort of disease due to the numerous stinging nettle stings, oh the joys of country living! x

Hope everyone has a good weekend and actually has some fun plans unlike myself.

What I Wore: 14.

Well not such a great start to the morning after I stubbed my toe, I'm fairly certain that and a paper cut are more painful than chopping your arm off. Anyone else agree?

This was an outfit from last week that I didn't get to post due to a combination of being busy and that whole blogger malfunction. Anyways this week has pretty much been a giant fail in terms of photo taking, mainly due to long days and unimaginative outfits. My brain is not in full functioning mode at 6.30 am and as soon as I get home I usually go out for a run so I completely forget to take a photo of what I have been wearing. Will try my hardest to get my act together soon!

Apparently the world was meant to end today or something along those lines, well looks like we have once again defied the odds and lived though it, well done people.

Live long and prosper folks.

What I Wore: 13.

Sorry about the lack of updates, time seems to have flown by but I've finally got some spare time so I can sit down and catch up on some blogs. This weekend was pretty fun, Saturday was an extremely successful shopping trip followed by a tasty lunch out. I managed to get some amazing items from the charity shops and even had to stop myself from buying more, it got to the point I had bought so much I couldn't even remember what I had got, shameful I know!

A military type operation commenced when I got home to wash and alter everything, bake cupcakes, get my haircut and pack my bags ready to go out in the evening. Probably far to many jobs to do in the space of a few house but by some miracle I managed it.  Sunday was pretty chilled, film watching, food munching the prefect combination. I always think that its acceptable to be a complete slob on Sunday after all it is a day of rest...thats what I use as an excuse anyway.

I also wanted to say thank you so much to everyone who reads, comments and follows my blog, it is absolutely insane to think that people actually read my crazy ramblings!

Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend.
