What I Wore: 16.

The weather was lovely today so I thought I would crack this pleated number out. It is actually a skirt but as the waistband is elasticated it can easily be worn as a dress and in real life its actually a bit more of a darker raspberry colour. Its rather unlike me to wear something so colourful.

Bank holiday weekend actually turned out to be a lot more fun than I thought it was going to be. I had such a good night out on Sunday, nothing special but its always a good time when the majority of your friends are out together. I don't really drink anymore, but I'm the sort of person who can go out, not drink and still have a good time. In fact I think I'm more insane without alcohol, probably not such a good thing. I always think people probably assume I'm incredibly drunk because I chat away to anyone and pretty much never leave the dancefloor.

On Monday I went to a local event which has bands playing throughout the day, food and loads of different stalls, everyone just chills out on picnic blankets and it has a bit of a festival vibe to it. Sitting on the train home with hundreds of hyped up, mostly drunk teenagers was not my idea of a relaxing journey though. And the highlight, getting chatted up by a 16 year old boy, I think he thought I was loving it because I was smiling but I was only trying to stop myself from bursting out laughing!

  15. Ha about the boy! bless em' Also great idea about turning the skirt into a dress, so easily and adaptable! You have one smashin' tan too! and you're so right about not drinking but still having a insane time! I rarly drink and always end up having a laugh. I always say its the company that makes the event rather than the actual event itself, I mean I've had the best laughs of my life having a picnic in a park!
